History of Calvary Chapel Lima |
Calvary Chapel Lima began as an outreach to children and young people in one of the citys largest parks in February 2003. Today, the fellowship is home to over 400 adults, plus children and young people who love Jesus and honor His Word.
Curios onlookers stopped to listen to the lively worship and open-air teaching in Mariscal Castilla Park, braving the wet winter months and sweltering summer heat that first year. The church began meeting in the basement of the Lince Municipality Library, and then moved into larger rented facilities in San Isidro for two years on Av. Javier Prado, one of Limas major thoroughfares
Today, the church meets at the auditorium of the Derrama Magisterial as we await the Lords direction to purchase a permanent church home. There are spiritually edifying activities daily, and something for everyone at Calvary Chapel Lima.
