God told Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you . . .” 

It is obvious that God loves the Jews, and He has an exciting plan for his Chosen People in these last days.  For this reason, we have chosen Israel as our foreign mission field, to be on the cutting edge of the work God wants to do there.  After all, Messiah said, “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem . . .”

The Lord has blessed and provided for Calvary Chapel Lima to send teams frequently to the Holy Land to teach and witness to the descendents of Abraham.  Selfishly, perhaps, we want to get in on that blessing He’s promised!

Many Peruvians have expressed a desire to venture into the more dangerous countries Westerners will not go.  As the Lord leads, we hope to establish a training center in the Middle East where Latinos can learn Arabic, and be trained to witness to Muslims to teach about Isa.

Calvary Chapel Lima supports its first full-time missionary, Alfredo Sanchez, working in Germany.  (link)  The church has also sent short term teams into Ecuador and Chile, and Belize in Central America.
